I'm honestly not too big a fan of clicks; so none of my conlangs have click sounds so far. However, i will acknowledge that click sounds are pretty interesting for a conlang
they are really interesting.
Yeah just imagine all the ways they could influence the phonotactics and create sound changes
I am developing a Bantu-conlang named Qolape, it is inspired by Zulu and Xhosa but this language has 4 click sounds: the dental, the lateral, the alveolar and the bilabial click sound. I am also made 1 taboo word with a 'slapped' click sound (you start with your tongue at the roof of your mouth and make the alveolar click but you let your tongue also slap the floor of your mouth at the end of the click). You will hear 2 almost simultaneous click sounds) I am not sure if I will include this last click in the normal vocabulary. But the other 4 are fully present.
No, here even my 201291201211821 conlangs do not have clicks
What do you think?
