Just wondering how i can make a draft of my conlangs page without having it be visible to anyone else
{{#ifeq|{{USERNAME}}|*insert username here*|*insert draft here*|Nothing to see here!}}
Please note that {{USERNAME}} is not universal among Fandom wikis (It requires someone to add a certain piece of JavaScript to the wiki) and people will still be able to see if they copy the draft text to a new article, and as almost anyone can edit a wiki, this strategy is not 100% private.
Yeah I've never seen what Triton suggested, not sure how that works.
It wouldn't make it invisible to others, but another way you could kinda mark something as a draft is to create it as a "sandbox" page under User space. To do that, you can just navigate to your user profile page, then add "/Sandbox" (or a different word, if you prefer) to the end of the URL and enter. Then create that page. If you want to create it with the standard conlang template we use on this wiki, you can enter "User:Astrohauprime/Sandbox" into the page creation box thing. Then, whenever you're satisfied with it, you can just use the Move function to rename the page.
Yeah, but you can still see it if you click on "Recent Changes." If the sandbox shows up in the "Recent Changes", a curious person can click on the link to it and see the draft for themselves.
What do you think?
