Okay, so I listened to a multi language cover of “Bad Apple”. When I did, it gave me an idea. What if we did our own cover of Bad Apple, but with our conlangs?
Anyone in?
What's on your mind?

Okay, so I listened to a multi language cover of “Bad Apple”. When I did, it gave me an idea. What if we did our own cover of Bad Apple, but with our conlangs?
Anyone in?
So on YouTube, I saw the series called “Translating country names from Mandarin Chinese quite literally”
And then, it came to me.. what if we did that with our conlangs?
So if anyone has funny translations, SHARE THEM HERE (I have some too)
You can put it in the page or make a sub page!
Would anyone like to help me develop my first conlang?,if you want to,then discuss about it in my blog post titled "i need help making my first conlang"
I need feedback on my conlang with a goal to be an international auxiliary language, what do you think about the phonology, phonotactics, word order, head direction, writing system, dictionary, etc?
These are the sounds (+ [w])
Hi everyone!
Elector Dark and I just announced a new challenge on the Discord server, but I know some people on here haven't joined us on Discord yet, so I wanted to let you all know too.
The challenge's theme is diachronics, and is team-based and will take place in two phases.
First, each team will be assigned a proto-lang, from which they will derive daughter languages (this can be done collaboratively or individually, up to the team).
Then, the teams will swap daughter langs, and then attempt to reconstruct the other team's proto-lang.
The team who most accurately reconstructs the other's proto-lang wins! And there will be a vote for best daughter lang as well.
If you are interested and/or want to participate in this challenge, join us over on Discord!
The Arts & Creative Writings catogory is to be used for when announcing an artlang, or to show off a conlang(s) in a poetic notation.
I'm looking for romanic speakers to help me in this project.
Hey guys, I would love to have anyone willing to help expand my developing language community- the language is a piece of a story that I have been trying to complete, and it belongs to one of the races in my story. And though this is a fictitious language- I would love to bring it into reality with some help from you, the community.

Here is all that I have made so far, and with your help, I have great hopes for the future of O'demyuric
According to Elder Scrolls Lore, the Ancient High Elves (or Aldmer) brought the so-called Imperial Language to Tamriel. I given this some thought and have come to the assumption that the Languages of the Empire mostly (with the exception of beastfolk languages) belong to a single language family that started with the language of the Aldmer. I shall henceforth refer to this Aldmeric language as proto-Merethic, in reference to the Merenhic era when Elven kingdoms controlled Tamriel.
This is obviously a marvelous excuse to construct an entire language family and give depth to a Bethesda franchise that seriously lacks in some worldbuilding departments.
Due to the obviously prevailing Indo-European influence on Tamriel, the Merethic Language Family will be based on the Indo-European Family, and will include the languages of the following recognized races: Ayleid, Breton, Dark Elf, High Elf, Imperial, and Nord. It may also contain the languages of the following races: Falmer, Orc, Redguard, and Wood Elf.
