Grammar[]

Sentence Structure[]

Basic Frieirs sentences follow the SVO structure. Sentences with double verbs and a pronoun object follow the SV(V)O structure.

Examples (Subject is bolded, Verb is italicized):

Basic Sentence

'O' loucs bras amps (say: o loʊk bʁɑ 'zɒmp) - I jump over the wall
Sers ers mem fat tazh jem (say: seʁ zeʁ mem fæt taʒ dʒɛm) - Teachers teach the same subjects every day

Four cur ey lyo räts (say: foʊ cœ ʁei lijo ʁɛt) - Can you solve this puzzle

Verbs[]

Verbs in Frieirs do not change form but rather utilize helper verbs before and after the main verb to convey tenses, moods and voices. Besides the basic grammatical tenses, moods and voices found in many languages, Frieirs contains other helper verbs to express other aspects unique to the language.

The following verbs will be used as examples:
1.) LOUCS - jump
2.) TORS - get
3.) OUAZ - know
4.) TÖRS - answer
5.) AR - be
6.) LUS - be (location)
