Ftaj'ayya (in English also known as Tajaya, /təˈdʒɑjə/, or Ftajayan; Ftaj'ayya: [ˌftɑɟˈʔaja]) is an Elven language spoken by the Steppe Elves, i.e. the nomadic tribes that inhabit the coastal plains and central steppes of Etria (southern continent on Dartea). It is the native language of approximately 17 million people, and Ftaj'ayya is closely related to Falayya. It also uses the Flind (or Flindayyan) alphabet, but its grammar is distinctly more simple than Falayya's.
