Classification and Dialects[]

Kanglapolish has the following dialects:

  • Standard Kanglapolish: The official language in Kanglapo.
  • Southern Kanglapolish (sometimes known as Nankanglish): Similar to standard Kanglapo, but there are some differences in terms of the prepositions used.
  • Middle Kanglapolish: With words also added from the regional languages, and some several differences in the grammar and spelling rules compared to the Standard Kanglapolish used.
  • Northern Kanglapolish (Old Kanglapolish): Widely spoken in Kinglavia and Kanglapo's northern states, it is said to be the most 'authentic' version of Kanglapolish without Russian influences. Therefore, there are some differences in the vocabulary used between the standard and old Kanglapolish especially for words used to describe things from the 17th century. (e.g. Train: Рерусон (Standard) or Бисакоуса (Old))
