  1. their number - singular, plural or collective
  2. their case - active, passive, dative, genitive or oblique

The number is indicated by a prefix; the case is indicated by a suffix.

Number[]

Prefix

Plural o-
Collective ve-

If the nouns starts with a vowel, a "n" is added after the prefix.

Case[]

Suffix Meaning
Active - Agent
Passive -s Patient
Dative -n Indirect object
Genitive -f Possession
Oblique -t Time, place, manner ...

If the noun ends in a consonant, an "i" is added before the suffix.

The oblique case is usually used with an adposition - in fact, all adpositions demand the oblique case.

Adjectives[]

Adjectives describe nouns or pronouns. They are declined for ...

  1. their number - singular, plural or collective
  2. their case - active, passive, dative, genetive or oblique
  3. their grade of comparison - positive, comparative or superlative

Adjectives have to agree with their noun or pronoun in number and case - however, the grade of comparison is independent from noun or pronoun.

Adjectives are declined for number and case like nouns. The grade of comparison is indicated by a suffix.

Grade of comparison[]

Suffix
Positive -
Comparative -nh
Superlative -v

The grade of comparison suffix is added to the stem before the case suffix.
