This is my rough notes for a language that might have developed from a proto-Fayn language. This shows some early efforts at what would eventually develop into the Galav Language family. I may remove this page and replace it with an updated language occupying the same area in the worl or else I may keep it around as a note and to see where some of the ideas and innovations behind the Galav [and perhaps eventually all of the Sphaeran languages] came from.
The rest of this article is unchanged;
A proto-language which might develop into a fuller conlang and then language family. For now, it's by best attempt to give the Fén language a plausible backstory and development. Galavic is now a largely dead language in the setting, supplanted by regional dialects that arose as they spread further over the continent. Fén is one of the four resulting languages.
The Galavic language never developed its own writing system.

Galavic does not distinguish vowel lengths.
Smallest Syllables Possible, Diphthongs are avoided even in the construction of compound words.
Consonants can consist of C-V-V, C-V, V-V or V.
Infixes and Gender/NumberEdit
Unlike in the related languages, Paligir infixes both pluralization and gender of words. Further, cases are marked by a vowel at the beginning of a word.
If the final vowel in a word in Paligir is an "a" then it is a masculine noun, "i" marks it as feminine noun, "u" marks it as a plural noun.
If the final vowel is "o" then it is a masculine verb, "e" marks a feminine verb.
