Grammar[]

Nouns[]

There are four types of nouns: closed, open, masculine, and feminine. In addition, there are six different declensions that can modify the nouns. Each species of noun declines slightly differently, but are more-or-less similar.

Closed Nouns

Closed nouns end in a consonant. Their declined endings are the most straightforward. (Example noun: тоф [tof] - place).

Closed noun 'тоф', declined.

Singular тоф тофеɴ тофе тофаь тофу тофм
Plural тöв тöвеɴ тöвe тöвaь тöву тöвм

Open nouns end in a vowel that is not [o] or [a]. Their declined endings usually involve some sort of mutation or add-on of the final vowel. [Example noun: ςysи [suşi] - sushi].[]

Open noun 'ςysи', declined.
