Allophony:

/β̞/ may be dialectally realized as [β], or [w ɥ] adjacent to back and front vowels respectively.

/ð̞/ may be dialectally realized as [ð], [l], or [r~ɾ], as well as [z] next to front vowels.

/r/ in other contexts can also be realized as [ɾ].

/k g x ɰ/ are generally realized as [q ɢ χ~ħ ʁ~ʕ] next to /a ɒ/ or uvulars, [k g x ɰ] next to /ɨ u/, [ȶ ȡ ɕ j] next to /i e/ or palatals, and [k g h ɦ] elsewhere.

The short back rounded vowels are often centralized: [ʉ ɵ ɞ], and all short vowels can be somewhat laxed. An example inventory might be /ɪ i: ë e: ɛ̈ æ: ᵻ ɨ: ə ɘ: ɐ a: ᵿ u: ɵ o: ɞ ɒ:/.

Clusters /tɸ/ and /nj/ can be realized as [tʙ̥] and [ȵ] respectively.
