Peptalk[]

Ok, so I want to say that this group project is fantastic! It could really work out! It could be like the greatest thing ever, in conlanging. The community is filled with creative people, so if the notabitlity would be argued, it would so win always. And we've got time to be thorough, to create not only a language but a whole language family! It could be great. Tolkien, but then complete, yet without the fiction.

You're building on something fantastic! I can't wait to become a part of it!

My comment[]

Interesting concept, guys. If this turns out well, it'll be better than Esperanto Rostov-na-don ist deine herr Oberst! 00:20, December 24, 2010 (UTC)

I'm actually the only one still working on it :/

But I'm very happy with how it's turning out. I hope to build up its vocab and work on its usage within a month or so, and then it'll be ready for full-on testing. Razlem 00:41, December 24, 2010 (UTC)

Heh, that's not good. So, what happened to the other members? Rostov-na-don ist deine herr Oberst! 18:02, December 24, 2010 (UTC)

Idk. Panglossa just kind of stopped, and kenny and I kept arguing about what kind of derivation system to use (verbs or nouns). But I still give them credit for the project; I wouldn't have been able to get this far on my own. Razlem 18:38, December 24, 2010 (UTC)

Hey[]

Long time no talk. Looks pretty good. Detectivekenny (Info; Talk) 23:48, February 5, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, nice to hear from you again. I've been working on it occasionally, and at this point I'm getting feedback from a few of my peers as far as aesthetics and fluidity. Razlem 04:39, February 6, 2011 (UTC)

curiosities[]

Hey there. I really like your language, guys! I had a few questions about it though. You say that the word order is strictly SVO, but is there any way to use a passive voice (a la English) or an object-oriented construction (Indonesian's version of passive voice using di- prefix is a good example)? Also, there's not really any information on where to put modifiers, relative clauses, that sort of thing, i.e., whether it's head- or dependent-marking. Peace! Truedat 10:21, May 25, 2011 (UTC)

It's funny you mention that. I'm actually working on several methods of object-oriented construction. It'll take some time to fine-tune it, but the outcome looks promising. As for particles and the like, TBD. I have several ideas, but I'm trying to get people's opinions on what would be easiest for them.
