Deletion of links to subpages

When User:GoldenEagle totally rewrote the main page on 19 September, they left out several links to general conlanging articles that are now orphaned or near-orphaned with few or no links to them. I'm going to add them back in a new section at the bottom of the page.

Also, the opening section about how to start creating a language, while well-meant, is a bit unhelpful. I think we should add links to existing, more adequate resources on beginning conlanging such as Mark Rosenfelder's Language Creation Kit and the Conlang Wikibook, etc. --Jim Henry 11:53, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Hello, I do not think these articles on how to create languages are that necessary. I think each person should able to decide how to develop his language page.

Featuring

The rules stating how to create a language

While the rules on this page is a possible guide for creating a language, they are not the only way to create a good conlang. Therefore the option to disregard these rules should be available. While most current conlangs are created using these rules, Delang was not.

If anyone has a good reason for dismissing the option of not following the rules, state so, just don't remove the possibility just because you don't like it.

Ok, seriously you are getting annoying. There is no need to do such as thsoe are ADVICES to help new ones. if YOU dont want to follow fine, do so and be judged accordingly. But there is no need to advertise it on the front page like that for your own personal gain. All roads lead to rome but you only mark the shortest and best clearly. I have no intention trying to silent you on either site, Your stuff will not be touched there or here, your blogs are left intact, your language is left intact, your words are left intact. I am just saying dont add that stuff to the FRONT PAGE without discussing first. I would leave it alone if you didnt try to constantly put that stuff there when I say it is unneccisery, if you disagree talk here and WAIT for people to tell their thing and leave things as they are UNTIL then and NOT a moment EARLIER. I have no hatred and prefer civilized solutions but your slam on it without consent is not right. Keep this discussion going, wait for consent, if so it will be added there.
