A tokiponido is a language directly based on or heavily inspired by the Toki Pona language created by Sonja Lang.

The term tokiponido is Esperanto for "offspring of Toki Pona." It is analogous to "esperantido," a term used to describe conlangs based on Esperanto.

Tokiponidos include:

  • Bon Wen (link)
  • Luka Pona (link in Toki Pona) - a sign language with vocab almost identical to Toki Pona, but with grammar more typical to signed languages
  • Peukhue (link)
  • Toki IO (link)
  • Toki Lil
  • Kokanu (formerly Toki Ma) - an initially extended version of Toki Pona intended as an auxlang that has since diverged significantly
  • Tuki Tiki (link)
  • Sin Toki Pona
  • Lita Safa (unofficial - link)
  • Samaka (heavily inspired by toki pona, but the vocabulary is a priori - Fandom Page, Website)
