Yolon (natively Iolon [jɔlon]) is an intergalactic language used by type-2+ civilizations in the Milky Way to communicate with each other. It was created in a planet called Iolka (/jɔlka/), approximately in the year 3700 B.C., as an easy-to-learn language, so that type 2+ civilizations could communicate easily, on almost the same language.
Yolon is usually learned when a civilization becomes a type-2 civilization, when they can harness the power of their stellar system. When a civilization reaches type-2, a member of one of the ~100000 stelar-towns will go to their stellar system and teach them the language, without any wars.
Writing
Yolon follows ASAOAV (Adjective-Subject Adjective-Object Adjective-Verb). In formal Yolon, uppercase letters are used to denote names or words that don't exist in the language (actually they're just normal letters with a bar over it)
Rules
"C" cannot be at the start of a word. It also can't be used twice in a row.
Syllables
The syllable structure is C(C)(V)V(C).
C is either H, Z or V; V is either I or U; and C is any consonant except x.
Names in uppercase letters don't need to follow these rules.
Stress
If the nucleus of the first syllable is an e or an o, it will be stressed and the E and O will turn into [ɛː] and [ɔː], respectively. If it doesn't, it has random/no stress.
Pronunciation
Yolon does not have very complex pronunciation. The pronunciation is very different among dialects. The language is usually written, not pronounced, so it remains consistent among civilizations because the writing is very consistent.
